    Overview

    Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky is a side-scrolling RPG developed by tri-Ace Inc. for the PlayStation 4 and Vita. Was produced by Spike Chunsoft as a low-budget cross-platform PS Vita/PS4 game.

    The game proposes mechanics similar to the cult-classic (from the same developer) Valyrie Profile: Lenneth. Replaces the classic rpg mechanics (Town+Field+Dungeon) with a dungeon-crawler focus.

    The battle-system is similar to Valkyrie Profile titles, something slower and more turn-based.

    The plot begins in a contemporary version of Tokyo and moves to a mysterious planet called Protolexa where the twelve protagonists wake up after dying on Earth. In that hostile environment they must choose between opposing alien deities and find the path that allows them to return home and resume their lives.
