Emberlight is true roguelike dungeon crawler with turn-based combat that takes the player on a journey to fight multiple enemies and bosses, explore different levels, and gain new skills to become powerful enough to complete quests for the Ember Order. Each run in Emberlight lasts approximately 30-60 minutes.
The user will create a party of 3 members from the starting classes: The Pyromancer (Mage), The Smoke-shrouded (Psionic Hunter), and the Blaze Knight (Seasoned Knight). Additional subclasses can be unlocked over time through successful runs.
Skills are acquired by observing new abilities from defeated enemies throughout the dungeon. However, the characters will become corrupted due to the Ember process of acquiring these new spells causing a fight between themselves in the final battle. The victor of this final battle will become a corrupted boss in a future quest.
