    Sir Clive Sinclair (30 July 1940 – 16 September 2021) was the CEO of Sinclair Research, which helped to kickstart the home computer market during the early 1980s. He was most well known for the ZX Spectrum, as well as the C5 electric trike.

    Inventor, entrepreneur, CEO of Sinclair Research and former chairman of British Mensa, Sir Clive Sinclair is most widely known for two things: the massive success of the ZX Spectrum personal computer and the massive failure of the Sinclair C5. The C5 was a three-wheeled, battery-powered tricycle that was widely ridiculed.

    Sinclair died on 16th September 2021 following a long battle with cancer.
