The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.

Will the upcoming bundling of Motion+ to Wiimotes spark more use?

Motion Plus has proven itself to be everything people wanted out of the Wii, even when Nintendo never promised such a thing, but it seems very few developers are planning on using it. Besides the sports games, and Red Steel 2, MotionPlus is not being used at all.

When the MotionPlus starts to be bundled with every Wiimote this November, do you think more developers will start using it?

If the game concept matches with it, they'll use it. If it doesn't, they won't. It fits concept of Red Steel 2 so they use it, it doesn't match the concept of Rabbids Go Home so they don't. I'd like to see more games that use it, but not just for the sake of using it, instead because it genuinely adds to the gameplay, as in Red Steel 2. Most sports games can benefit from it hence most do use it, but other game types won't benefit if the concept isn't designed around its use. There are a few more planning to use it like HVS' upcoming games among others. It's rather early to want even more, I'm sure more games are being developed but we won't hear of them until they're further in development.

Will Motion+ start getting bundled?  I hadn't heard that but it will definitely help.

I think the marketability of supporting a peripheral that few people own weighs much harder in development than you think in this case.

The peripheral is selling great and depending on the bundle its price is a non-issue. If people are interested in the game, they'll buy it, as it doesn't tend to have a meaningful difference to the price. Some games can also get extra "hype" simply by supporting the peripheral, as Red Steel 2 is doing having the tagline "exclusively designed for motion plus" in all the promotional videos. Now, sure you drop your potential install base by supporting an extra peripheral, but on the other hand you may be targetting an install base that is more prone to purchasing your game. The music games support the instruments because they sell to people who have instruments, for one example, even if that's only a subset of the people who own the consoles at all. I'm sure many who wouldn't look @ Red Steel 2 after the first are eager to see more for that reason. So, it's all relative on a case by case basis, what the game is, how it can benefit from motion plus, and how it can be marketed or bundled with it too.
