I'm making my year pilgrimage to play Mass Effect 2, I just downloaded it off the backwards comparability from EA Access. Usually I just import my previous save but this im assuming is not the case, just wondered does anyone know if i can pre-select my choices from 1 or is there a way or determining this beforehand?

@whipperdasher: If you have Xbox Live Gold, you can upload your old save to the cloud from the 360 (if you still have it) and use it on the Xbone. Otherwise, the Genesis DLC is $4 and gives a very brief interactive comic that lets you make a handful of the biggest choices. Imo, it's not a substitute for a real save, though. The other two games are on the backward compatibility list as well.

I wish they would just release this digitally in the Xbox store like they did with the original Mass Effect.

Anyone else still upset how the Bomb crew just lied to Vinny during GotY two years ago so Mass Effect 2 wasn't one of the top 3 backwards compatable games? I specifically remember Alex and Brad saying how it had controller support on PC and how the PC version was considered better even though there is no controller support (3 didn't even have it) and the PC port is considered subpar to the console version by the Mass Effect community because of lack of graphics options, poor porting of the controls and janky hud and just ugh... I know it's petty, but still mad when I think back to the crew just making shit up to get the top 3 they wanted.

I think a remastered box set of the original trilogy might be my biggest gaming wish at this point.

If I remember right... when you start ME2 and you choose you don't have a save it should allow you to set some main story points that happened in one. (Who you saved, etc). That should set your story up for ME2 mostly the way you want it. You don't get some of the smaller choices that would effect some smaller commentary in ME2 but all the big ones are there.

Enjoy your play-through of such an amazing game!

Eh, modded versions of all 3 games on PC (new textures, improved controls/controller support, many other improvements/new features) running at high resolutions and framerates are basically as good or better than any potential remasters would be.

They did, and it's also included with EA Access.

@madpierrot: I also remember that the dlc wasn't available through origin. It was through Bioware and you had to buy Bioware credits or some shit to get it and it was all still full price years after launch
