Podcast about the Japanese gaming scene by dudes who run a localization company in Tokyo who are one of the better localization outlets (they did Shadows of the Damned, every Metal Gear since Portable Ops, every Tales game since Legendia, and a ton more). The why is because it's one of the best* gaming podcasts out there besides the Giant Bombcast.

*Best in terms of currently running podcasts. Nothing will ever dethrone GFW Radio.

I don't think that's true at all. Not that I think this will be bad, but more content can definitely be a bad thing, if the content is bad.

They are ok, they talk alot about japanese games which is definately something giantbomb doesn't cover too much.  

Awesome! Now my two favorite podcasts are on the same site.

Because of the way our tools work, in the short term, the podcast will go live here AFTER they publish on their end. Eventually, it will all happen on Giant Bomb. We'll be adding all of their old episodes in the next week or two.

Bombcast is my favorite podcast. 8-4 is my second.

God I miss the heyday of 1UP, back before Garnett forgot how to host a podcast well.

I miss it too. But i really love Weekend Confirmed though, i have been listening from first episode. But it will never be the same thats for sure, the pure dynamic of the old 1UP crew, was just amazing. I still think that old podcast smokes everything else thats around to this day.

@mosespippy: The fall of 1UP started with the first layoffs so many talented people left, they where the pillars that helped that company stay together. And now Matt Leone and Scooter are gone too, so they might as well put it out of its misery.
