This game remains pretty popular on Steam, with 15-20k people playing it regularly, and yet the GB staff has never even done a segment on it on a variety show like UPF or anything to that effect. Seems like a game Vinny and Brad might dig once they got into it. Do we think they might finally check it out if/when it comes out of early access on PC?

I think they went through a bunch of survival games at one point and probably are burnt out on them.

Also I don't think it's ever going to get out of early access lol.

I think... this was out like 3 or 4 years ago? I think I played it at the time and it was a mess. I'm sure it's better now but chances if they were going to look at it then it would have happened closer to the games launch. For better or worse, it seemed to come out at a time where there were dozens of survival games appearing.

Maybe they will have a look when it leaves early access.

Not really their kind of game. People being very unhappy with the Iron Galaxy port probably doesn't help.

Murder island is a pretty big anomaly honestly and the fact they continue to play it shows how special that game really is.

It's

• A zombie game
• A survival game
• An open world scavenging/crafting game
• An early access game (with early access jank, not the good kind)

Given that most of the GB staff isn't interested or are tired of those sub-genres, it's not weird at all that they haven't covered this game.

Even Brad has called for other developers to stop making zombie games.

Jeff has stated they get flooded with numerous early access, unfinished, or Kickstarter games every week. I can see them getting tired of trying to cover them all. So they'll probably look at 7 Days to Die if it ever leaves early access, and move on.
