Just wanted to drop in and post this promotional video for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes that turned up this morning. As you can see, it may be a polygonal game, but it looks like it's going to provide that same sort of wild, over-the-top fighting that you'd expect from the Capcom versus games. Watching it made me all tingly inside, even though I'm more familiar with stuff like Gatchaman and Ryu and not very familiar with stuff like Casshern and... whoever the heck else is in the game.
Considering that all the licensing for all the different Tatsunoko characters is probably all over the place, I have to imagine it'd be a real chore for Capcom to bring it into the States. But then, it'll probably hit consoles in Japan at some point. And this is why we, as an import game loving people, should be happy about things like the PS3's region-free approach. Or you could be happy about things like the ability to slap your US hard drive on a Japanese 360 to earn points in foreign games.
But that's just madness.
