Brink Pre-Order DLC To Include Doom And Fallout Wear

Bethesda flexes its marketing muscles.

Brink may have been freshly pushed back into Spring 2011, but the marketing folk for the title apparently haven't taken much of a break. At QuakeCon, several unusual (?) pre-order character skins were revealed, two of which, interestingly, have been pulled straight from the Fallout and Doom universes.

At its presentation, developer Splash Damage unveiled the game's four different pre-order skin packs split between a variety of retailers: the Psycho pack, the Spec Ops pack, the Fallout pack, and the Doom pack. Each bit of content comes with its own hat, tattoo, tee shirt (or equipment), and gun (or gun skin).

Collectively, the packs all look rather rad...but there's two that take the cake, or I guess in this scenario, make me want to spend money well in advance. (Spoiler: it's the The Psycho and Fallout gear.)

Images of these taken straight from the panel can be seen in full over at G4. I'd imagine some in-game shots of the gear and accessories will come along at some point in the near future, and I'll be sure to get them up around the time they hit the 'net.

But now that you've seen or at least read through the contents of each package, I've got to ask: you're all pre-ordering at Best Buy to get the Fallout pack, right? Or is the pull of the burlap sack mask too great?
