Henry Hatsworth Has His, um, Video Debut

OK, I failed at alliterating, but here's the first footage for this charmingly silly DS puzzle/platforming hybrid.

A few weeks ago, Henry Hatsworth was the most surprising and likable thing to come out of EA's Summer Showcase event down at its Redwood City headquarters. I gushed about the game's clever mix of Tetris-style puzzling and dashing, gentlemanly platforming action at the time. Didn't get a very enthusiastic response out of you people. This is EA! Trying something new! It deserves a moment of your attention.

Well guess what: I'm here to tell you what to like. You think this is a democracy? You will watch this trailer, and you will like it. WATCH.

EA's currently saying Henry Hatsworth will be in your sweaty little hands early next year.

EDIT: Poppycock! Brad Shoemaker on Google+

This makes me proud to be English :D
This might be the first DS game I've bought AND enjoyed since elite beat agents. (I bought Guitar Hero: On Tour but I didn't....well you get it)

If I had a DS I would totally consider playing that game!

Don't worry Brad, I'm totally excited for this (I'm English!).

An old school English gentleman exploring, conquering and mastering. Sounds cozy.

Looks fantastic, good to see a proper DS game pop up, and from Ea, no less

Henry had me at "Poppycock!"

Seriously though, the game does look rather good. I'm a little confused how the game will play but I likes what I sees.

reminds me of one of eddie murphy's movie trailers

I'd get it if I were english.

Wow, that looks pretty cool, in a Wario-ish kinda way. Sold my DS unfortunately, hope to see Henry Hatsworth in one form or another on the consoles!

I'm not English, but I'm Texan.  If I had a DS, I'd check it out.

This trailer has been out for a while.  Looks good though.

Dude! I can't remember the last time I said poppycock. Fiddlesticks! What Ho! Cheers! Terrah! Hasta la vista, baby! Tea and crumpets! Sones and jam! Oh, being a stereotypical englishman is quite humourous, is it not, my fellow countrymen? Tally Ho!

That game makes me want to buy a DS, wow, it looks great!

If I were English, I'd have some nice tea.

I...I like it.  I really do.  I watched the video, and I liked.

Happy now?  Huh?

cool game

A western developer doing something of interest on the DS, hard to imagine...

Take control, Brad!!

lol that sounds hilarious. I love good olde times english stereotypes gone mad :D It's much less offensive than the assumption we have afternoon tea with the queen every day at 4pm.

Posted by Blitzer

Looks interesting. Too bad it doesn't EXPLAIN anything about the game.

tally ho old chaps, like the use of the ds

Looks nice and cool looking trailer. But Wario Land 5 is on my list already and I'm much more exited about that anyway.

Doesn't look bad, but I will need to see a video or read a review that details how you control the top and bottom at the same time, or do you just control one and the other is a movie like screen (a la Tetris on the DS).
