Since I'm in the UK and we haven't got a release date for this yet I went back and played some Guilty Gear and was wondering how similiar the characters were. I'd especially like to see a guy similair to Chipp.

Similar to Chipp Zanuff? Well stylistically it'd be Bang Shishigami. But play wise? I'm not exactly sure. Chipp is great, one of my faves.

I'd say Ragna feels kind of like Sol.

Yeah I love just darting around the screen and kicking some ass, wish my friends were more into Gulty Gear so I could mix it up with them but alas they arn't. Blazblue may be my chance to fight human opponents online and I'd love to play a character similiar to Chipp. Bang does seem to be my favourite of the characters so far, his special move is extremly insane, I can't get that music outta my head!

Not that I'm an expert at all on Guilty Gear, but I once read something on game design and balancing using that game as an example.

Side question: Is BlazBlue a standalone story? Like it's self contained and not a sequel or anything like that right?

Iron Tager is incredibly similar to Potemkin. He's like a Potemkin dipped in awesome.
