Your DC Bobsleigh Challenge Platinum time
DUDE YOU SHOULD POST THAT ON YOUTUBERIGHT AFTER SLAMMING THIS DEW, IT'LL BE EPIC!!!
Argh! Can't break the minute mark... Get so close but no luck. What do you need for the achievement? Gold or Platinum?Platinum certified :(
Get to the point where you can do the steep downhill part without using your brakes. That's really the only advice I have sorry....
I don't even want to think how long it took me to get this, using the settings in the link above and perfecting my breaking at that hellish corner at the bottom of the downhill bit helped.
Finally reached this challenge not long ago, and passed it after about ten attempts. It's tough for sure, but every time I failed I changed the setup slightly. Found that the gear ratio one block towards short (full short slowed me down) and full stiff on suspension helped me tremendously in getting traction around the course, though a smoother line was necessary to keep the car stable. Using flashback anytime the car's off-line or sliding a bit too much is a must, as well; at the very least, it's a timesaver for when you have what feels like an otherwise perfect run.
Quite pleased with my end result.
What assists and view do you guys use?
Anyway here's my run...
I had to register to say this.@PsEG said:

THIS WORKED BRILLIANTLY FOR ME. I was getting 57.033 57.748 for an hour, after reading your comment I turned on the racing line and adjusted my suspension to stiff and one notch to short for the gears. everything else default. no abs no tcs.
