Almost a year later, makes me highly suspicious.

My dad's birthday. What a great present. Not so sure how well this thing will finally turn out (if they don't delay it again). Here's hoping it's alright.

@steadyingmeat: I can't remember if it was this or forza. Both of them had guys who seemed way too into cars though.

Since I've a PS+ account I'll nab the free edition of this to see what its like. I'd like it to be good. I'd like a good racer that isn't dated as GT and doesn't have the issues of NFS.

#DriveClub was the one with the guy going NUTS. It was at the PS4 reveal event.

So Dragon Age: Inquisition, Alien Isolation, Shadow of Mordor on the 7th and Driveclub on the 8th. Busy time.

Car Porn arrives October 8th... can't wait.

Forza Horizon 2 will be better

Cool. I will definitely look into it when I get a PS4, if it's good and if the sequel isn't out by then. I just hope the year long delay wasn't because the game is utter shit.

Damn right it will. That game will be amazing if it gets released.

So this isn't a sim-racing game, correct? The fact that they didn't show off real life circuits leads me to believe it's more in the style of a more realistic Need for Speed.

I see some people comparing it to Forza Horizon, but I never really played it. Did they tone down the simulation aspect in Horizon, or was it just an open world Forza game?

I wish I could get excited for this. Motorstorm Pacific Rift was such a good game but it's been downhill since then so I have no confidence in Evolution Studios anymore.
