Having watched the Quick Look (it starts a little slowly but ends up a good'un), there is now a part of me that kinda wants to buy this game. I'd wait until it was on sale though.

But just wondering whether anyone here actually picked it up, and if so is there actually a level of fun and satisfaction to be had from this in a Harvest Moon-gone-serious kinda way? Cause I could definitely see that from watching the QL. Or is it really only interesting if you're dicking around, because I'm not sure that would entertain me for long enough to make it worth a purchase.

Yeah, I played Farming Sim 13 for several hours the other day. I enjoyed it, but it felt that after a certain point the game would become repetitive without reward. I didn't get to that point after a long evening of playing though. It seems to be a game that encourages modding. So you might see some interesting stuff that might make the game better/different. But in its current state it feels like painting straight lines with slow expensive paintbrushes. I would wait for a sale, which shouldn't be too far off. Xmas?

It is a fun enough game, the MODs tend to make these games, and I really enjoy the Co-Op Multiplayer, I have a friend that him and I will spend many sleepless nights. It is repetitive but fun.
