E3 Sony vs Microsoft vs nintendo

So now that the emotions have settled a bit. Who do you think will win the holiday wars of 2015?

Does Sony have any big exclusives this year? They did a great job at distracting people from their lack of immediate games by appealing to big niche crowds (FF, Shenmue, etc).

If we are talking $$$ and units in 2015, Microsoft. Simply because they have product.

Sony just doesn't have enough exclusives for this year, most of the really cool stuff isn't coming for awhile.

I thought Nintendo stumbled badly, I doubt Mario Maker can carry them by itself at holiday. Lot of great little-medium games, but no major hits for 2015. Smash and Mario Kart will probably still be their big movers

Vita E3 Conference won

Microsoft had the best stuff coming in 2015.

I will say Microsoft, but not because of anything coming out of E3. They're still lagging behind Sony, so regardless if they're doing well when comparing themselves to previous years' performance, they're still going to try to push hard to close that gap. They made $350 permanent this year, so I would not be surprised if they lowered the price temporarily even lower (sub-300 on the 500 GB SKU?) for holiday 2015 again to win NPDs two months out of the year.

Why are we in a war

Aw, man, lowercase "nintendo" in the title? Talk about kicking a dog when it's down. At least the Muppets were fun.

Currently, my considerations for all three are these:

PS4: Uncharted 4, Horizon, Bloodborne, The Last of Us, The Last Guardian

Wii U: Bayonetta

X1: Nothing

I might get a PS4 after all of those games have been released. I'll probably never buy another Nintendo. They're not changing enough.

I don't care about Nintendo, Shenmue and Final Fantasy so it looks like Microsoft won.

I don't really see this holiday being very different than the last two outside a Halo bump.

This year is really interesting.

Because on one side we got Microsoft with Halo 5, Gears Ultimate and Fable Legends, and on the other side we got Sony with COD:BO3 timed exclusive dlcs and Destiny's exclusive content.

Let me tell you, for a company that doesn't have exclusive games, Sony have played it really well as it's hard to predict which will get the most sales.

Microsoft impressed me the most with Hololens.

I'd say Microsoft is pretty solid for this year. Halo 5 and Forza will probably carry the holiday for them. Nintendo didn't have too much exciting stuff but at least they have something. Sony has nothing for this year which is kind of a bummer so probably not them.
