It's the season premiere of Food Network's mediocre tacky cake-baking competition, and your favorite Midway baller turned Disney executive is the guest judge.

It airs tonight at 9|8c. I'm hoping for some decent screengrabs.

I hope this will be as good as when Deadspin's Drew Magary was on Chopped. Also hah "Disney Executive Johnny V."

I really want to know how that meeting went down where they decided they needed a executive to be part of the judging panel, and how it fell on Johnny V.

Sometimes I think Johnny V is the master of hiding his past and online persona from the Mouse House.

If he isn't introduced with that photo of his semi shaved chest, I don't know why he even bothered to show up.

O.o weeeird.

I wonder how long it will take before he humiliates himself on cable television.

I actually imagined Johnny V having this secret passion about making cakes and appearing on the show as a contender.

Please tell me that there is a cake with Han Solo baring his hairy chest with a V shaved into it. If so, and the judges other than Johnny V ask what the hell is going on, then everything will be right in the world.

Johnny seems just about the right mid-level Disney executive to send to something like this.

I'm now amazed that Johnny V is the vice president of anything.

I guess they decided to put his episode against the CFB championship game.

You know a show is bad when they book z-level celebrities as guests.

Being in a steady realtionship means plenty of downtime watching quality(kill me) TV stations such as HGTV and Food Network. Let's just say this isn't the worst idea the Food Network has brought to life. My favorite so far is having a "Rock and Roll" edition of chopped which featured whoever the fuck they could find musically that didn't laugh in their face when proposed with the idea of the show, such as Dweezil Zappa, the son of Frank Zappa.

Love Cake Wars, will watch this. Halloween Wars is a pretty great spinoff of this show, some incredible artistic talent there.

Oh thank god. I was afraid everyone (myself included) would be laughing at his hair. Then JV would be sad, then I'd be sad. Crisis averted!

I fucking hate it, but I can't help but throw it on. I am literally part of the problem.

It's funny to think that he's the same guy that not too long ago had a topless pic of himself on this very same site. Now look at him.

I cannot watch reality shows, because I'm often too busy thinking about the production to make the coached dialog by a producer off camera.... So, I'd love to see him and Dave Lang talk about it instead.
