I am just starting this game I got killed by a arrow now I can't find my Exp am I missing something. It's not where I died and I killed the person that killed me.

Could be a glitch. I find that my "souls" are never exactly where I died, so maybe they clipped through a wall or something.

They probably just expired. Depending on how large the pool is, it disappears faster or quicker. The larger, the longer it stays. There's a counter on the lower left that shows how many percent of it remains. It basically forces you to take risks with the enemies if you want to get all your souls back.

It seems like it follows the 5 second before death rule in terms of where it gets placed, but I could be wrong on that.

@do_the_manta_ray: ok ya they prob just ran out i thought it stopped going down at once it got to 25% of some think like that.
