Backlog - day 2

Game 11: Hitman: Blood Money. Wow. Note to self: Save. Manually. All the time. Took me 50 minutes to finish the first mission. Not very tempted to play more right now.

Game 12: Virtua Fighter 5
. That wasn't so bad. It took 8 minutes to beat arcade mode and get the first achievement. The three first minutes were spent tinkering with the options to make it as easy as possible. I didn't really feel like I played the game, though. This game looks and sounds absolutely gorgeous, though it felt a bit slow compared to other fighting games I've played recently.

Game 13: Far Cry 2. 12:30 in, I got the chance to die, and get the first achievement for escaping the city. This is one atmospheric game. If I hadn't spent last night playing Killzone 2 with my brother, I would have thought it looked kinda nice, too.

Game 14: Tomb Raider: Legend. Man, this game is surprisingly fun and well put-together. The music is fantastic. It took me 22 minutes to find five bronze rewards and collect my first achievement, it would have taken 15 if it hadn't been for a jumping puzzle that tripped me up for a while. Hit detection on vines = not optimal. I loved Uncharted, and I'm getting a lot of the same vibes from Legend.

Game 15: Fallout 3. 13 minutes, got a Pip-Boy for my birthday, along with my first 10G. It feels so wrong to quit here.

Game 16: Perfect Dark Zero. I will most likely never play this game again. Played through five minutes of the first mission, then gave up and killed a bunch of easy bots for two easy multiplayer achievements. 17 minutes.

Game 17: Cars: Mater-National. Dude, what a bum note to end the day on. An hour and 20 minutes is way more than I was prepared to play of this. They say the full 1000 points are pretty easily obtainable here, but I'm not gonna bother. It sucks.

I hate Perfect Dark Zero.
