Yesterday I was in Leeds hanging out with some friends, we hand all done a little bit of shopping for Christmas and were heading home and a random guy comes up to me and says "Giantbomb" and points at my luchadeer tee. I say yes we then exchange a few words about the site, then we go on are-own ways. It was very random, but kinda cool.

So I was wondering if more GiantBombers had meet other fans randomly on the streets?

Nah, I've only seen 3 Serbian users on the site, and they aren't active.

I didnt so much meet a fellow member as see some dudes tshirt when i was queuing to get in to see Bill Bailey last night. Was pretty damn cool

I'm all for meeting fellow fans on the street, just not the kind who randomly say ''Giant Bomb'' and then points at my shirt like a gorm. OK, gorm is uncalled for, but that's how I kinda envisioned the encounter...

My friends and my sister have, but I haven't. Go fig!

I have spotted random Whiskey Media shirts a couple times in Hoover. Also, a guy recognized my 2011 WM shirt at GMX. Cool stuff.

I've worn my shirts out and haven;t had anyone come up to me. Would be weird, but awesome to meet somebody else who uses the site.

I met a number of fans at GDC this year. Never EVER in the real world. It would help if I wore t-shirts, especially considering that I own TWO GB shirts.

No, but I've tried to recommend the site to people and I just get dumb looks. People don't understand the internet beyond the occasional Google search and free porn.

I was walking through my student center's food court and some guy yelled out across the place "That guy got a giant bomb shirt! giant bomb for life!"

I gave him a thumbs up and continued on.

Theres a dude in my Uni who wears one regularly. Doing a computer sciency subject, I WATCH YOU FROM AFAR.

This happened to me. One guy said he never heard of Whiskey Media and asked me if it tasted good.

A guy at BrockU saw me wearing a tested shirt and said hey.

I feel like I've typed this comment about 3 times this month. This thread seems to pop up a lot.

I'm always wearing Whiskey stuff but no one has ever said anything. I swear that someone has made a Ryan Davis stencil and spray painted his likeness all over the school though. Someone did comment on my Lincoln Force shirt but then again I'm in Illinois (Birthplace of Lincoln)

I saw "BATMANBATMANBATMAN.COM" written in one of the toilet cubicles in my Uni. I was surprised, the only sensible thing seemed to be to write "Giantbomb!" beside it. I was astounded when I returned later that week to see that I had a graffiti reply - "Fuck yea Duder!".

The whole exchange made me very happy.

I used to work at an ice cream shop and some guy came in in an I'm a Wizard shirt and I pointed to it and told him it was a nice shirt. He immediately blushed and walked awkwardly away.
