First time I've listed to this podcast; it's not bad. Will have to give it another go next week.

I was in Tokyo last August. Hottest, most humid weather I think I've ever been in in my life. And it gets pretty hot and humid in Pennsylvania, but not Tokyo hot and humid!

It was nothing but sweat and more sweat all day long.

As someone who's first final fantasy was five on the gameboy this delights me. (side effects of ffv fandom include severe jealousy of ffvi us release, bewilderment of your friends, and chronic amnesia.)

That intro music spoke to my heart. I was one of those people that got into Final Fantasy with FF7, but I did my due diligence and picked up every preceding game as they were re-released, and FF5 was probably the one that stuck with me the most (probably moreso than FF6). I just loved the charm and light humor of the game.

Always glad to see some Final Fantasy V love, given that game's seemingly obscure reputation as the one wedged between IV and VI. It's a pity that Bravely Default didn't quite succeed at being the spiritual successor I wanted.

All the classic Final Fantasy talk got me motivated to jump on the PSN Square sale. Hopefully V lives up to the hype!
