E3 2016: The Last Hope for VR is Serious Sam

I really like serious sam so i'm excited for this

VR has been justified. Nothing else matters.

I'm a little worried. I didn't see any actual player movement in that footage, beyond just shooting in different directions. If this is just another stationary VR shooter, that's a huge bummer.

Yeah, Serious Sam is all about movement. VR is cool but these target-plinking tech demos don't interest me in the slightest.

Really hope this doesn't eat into their manpower for SS4.

For a franchise that's always been about running backwards while shooting, this seems to be a step in the opposite direction.

Do you seriously want to play a "standard" Serious Sam game where you just stand in a box the entire time?

All of those levels had a platform beneath you to denote your available area. I really doubt there will be any actual movement, beyond maybe blinking/warping to different points.

Wonder if this is an actual Serious Sam, or another one of those "vr experiences".
