Love that track too; very dark, frantic and intense. Really fits with the vehement tone of the trailer.

I enjoyed almost everything about the game, almost irrationally so, as long as I didn't feel the need to collect everything. I really enjoyed the story, lighting, and found the combat tense rather than hard or tedious.

That was ... interesting.

Another who got along with the combat. But i do not mind it being racheted it up another dozen notches and with a bit more variety. Make no mistake though, Alan Wake-pc will happen for me at some point even though I have it now. K + M gameplay may be just what that game needs, properly done.

They caught the model/voice actor for Alan Wake doing crazy shit and decided to film him.

He's now in prison... but at least they got a great trailer out of it!

Wow...one of the better trailers I've seen for a game. Why is there not more horror in games? I understand it's not that broad of an appeal but I think if you do it well people will buy it pretty much no matter what it is. At least in the gaming world.

As far as I know, it is called "The Happy Song" by Poets of the Fall from their unreleased album. Remedy uses Poets of the Fall a lot.

@mrcraggle: In a recent Game Informer preview, Remedy said that if the original Alan Wake was two-thirds story and one-third combat, American Nightmare is two-thirds combat and one-third story.

They also said that story is not the main focus here.

Well, that was...disturbing.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare has been described as being "3/4ths action and 1/4th story" by Remedy.

And that's why I love Remedy.
