The Forest Seems Utterly Terrifying

I'm with you Patrick, I'm simultaneously super stoked and incredibly terrified for this to come out. Every time I see a trailer I get a sinking feeling knowing that I'll be forcing myself to play it.

I don't usually purchase early access games (Kerbal Space Program is the exception), but I would absolutely break my rule (again) for this. Looks absolutely amazing, and horrifying.

Calling it, those cannibal people are all just wearing stage clothes and acting, and they're really living in a nice village on the other side of the island.

Was 100% down until the multi-armed dudes showed up. I was hoping for more of a Robinson Crusoe style game, where there are these fucked up cannibals that you have to defend against, and not supernatural stuff. I'll probably still check it out but my hype has dropped considerably.

Doesn't seem too survival horror to me. Then again, perhaps we've just destroyed the term by throwing it around all these years on titles that didn't deserve it...

I'll wait for the full version though: I don't want to get used to the scares by playing it over and over every time it's patched.
