Titanfall Beta Starts This Friday

Heh, "beta". That's the term for "demo" these days isn't it?

I don't like Call of Duty at all and this sure looks a lot like Call of Duty with more verticality so I'm not very excited about the game.

Nevertheless I'll give the demo a try for sure, still have an Origin account somewhere.

I'll pass, but let us know how it goes! I'm always wait-and-see now with EA games. I'm done beta-testing for them. Let me know when a micro-transaction-free/premium-content-free/crash-free game from EA comes out.

Will this game be $60 with a $50+ premium addition like BF3/4?

actually, I retract myself. If you don't want to support EA with all the non-sense they put their customers through recently, it's totally fair. Do you have an Xbone?

Eh, well it's hard to really lump everything in under the publisher. Sure this is a key sense of authorship that is inherent within a lot of EA's Games, especially within their mobile department. But for every Dungeon Keeper there is a Real Racing 3, and for every BF4...maybe perhaps there is a Titan Fall to be an antithesis thereof? We will find out soon enough! Cautious optimism is something that's always good to have.

Just a heads up, the trailer is a bit misleading: the registration period ENDS on February 14th. When you sign up for the Beta, they notify you that you will be notified by February 17th if you have been selected, meaning that probably not everybody will be playing on the 14th.

I feel the same way except it coming from EA. After all of the shit from them lately what with BF4 and that Dungeon Keeper mess I just don't want to give them any of my money. I'd love to play this because it seems cool, I just hate supporting game companies with horrible business practices.

If I was paying any attention to Titanfall I'd probably be really excited for it. My free time is precariously sustained by me ignoring specific upcoming games.

It's a video game and I'd like to try it.

If this wasn't Origin only I would play it.
