I have a premium account and I log in with Chrome.

Bombcast 01/28/2014 (picked at random):

Chrome - Ad right at the beginning on the free stream which disappears when I switch to the premium version.

Firefox - Not logged in - selecting the premioum stream, the "get premium" graphic appears and the play button disappears. Switch to free stream and I hear an advert at the start as expected.

Listening to Arrow Pointing Down Bombcasts on either brower from 2018 in the same way I don't hear an ad at the start or skipping through (very quickly), so I don't know what I'm looking for. A timestamp would help, but if you want to make sure before parting with money then it would be best to ask @dtoast about this as the community manager. HTH

I would love to own SM Party 3D, but they pulled the plug on sales before I even knew it had been made available. I didn't have any money to spare at the time which helps me get over it, but I really want to beat those godawful camera angles myself. eBay exists for that I suppose, but if the Switch 2 is back compat then the price won't drop as hard I'd think.

Getting back to the original point, I think it would be fun to have all the Mario Kart games per platform in one package (if it doesn't already exist), since I have a lot of nostalgia for that on the SNES.

Yeah sucks is what it does. As fun as it was watching Blight Club, I wish they'd held back on showing new content today, it seems the guys didn't know.

I think you're not reading what I said. Consider that there are other people in this conversation who might appreciate what I mentioned.

I am not engaging in further debate on this with you.

First off: I don't currently have any issues with videos playing on any browsers (Chrome/FFox/Edge) on my couple of PCs at home (with adblockers installed) or phones here, except for ads which should be run past community manager dtoast if they're political, against site rules, or ridiculously bad. That last one I've included since I think it will affect other Fandom sites too.

My browsers are pretty vanilla installs, just adblock and/or plus, with a theme manager, and a download manager. No scripting helper extensions to be specific (I used to use one years ago), but other people will have various extensions installed and different options set in their browsers though. Also different levels of experience when reporting the problem. As such with all of these variable factors I don't envy a web developer trying to fix these issues. I do wish it was easy, I had one boss give me a funny look when he saw me using different browsers for testing software because he thought the web was universal, then in my next job the guy next to me said "oh we don't use Chrome <for that specific task>, it only works 100% in Edge. He was 100% right, it may have been a Windows system administration policy issue but I wasn't about to test it for them being on a short term contract.

Regarding transparency, I have raised some bugs myself and others mentioned issues they were having. There was a Town Hall meeting on 07/07/23 - I volunteered to ask about it for them rather than everybody taking up time with similar questions. Knowing I had limited time, I asked the most leading question I could think of which hopefully covered bug fixes. I've done enough, I'm not going to get involved in a summary of all the Q&A, you can hear the non-premium session here: https://www.giantbomb.com/shows/discord-town-hall-07-07-23/2970-22414/free-podcast

There's no supporting info on the wiki at all about this game or publisher, except what appears to be a promotional image on the game page. A quick google says that it was a fan-made VR game consisting of one room, and the publisher (the author) isn't linked to any other titles. Also that it was released for free very briefly (2018) on Steam, but I just checked and it's been removed. Since the pages are unlikely to be filled in, I think the pages are just a distraction.

Oh I think that shouldn't be too bad at all, I was thinking along the lines of someone I knew who had a box with four sides (cut outs for cables) and a door about 3 times the size of the PC. He was running it wih the door open. It looks like you might get a little warm in the summer though :)

It's good to see them all doing well. I saw the late stages of a stream that Jeff did yesterday, he seemed happy to be busy. At the end he listed quite a lot of social media sites that he's on - I can remember Mastodon being on there, didn't remember the name of Hive to look for it.

I really wouldn't chance it, cases are designed to pull in air and push it out for a reason. Any mechanical parts will wear out sooner and I don't think the rest of your PC would enjoy the experience, all the expensive parts have fans on them, and even memory sells with cooling fins nowadays.
