@stephen_von_cloud: I think they've been on Dynamite twice and both matches I've really liked so it's just a matter of taste. Now that Luchasaurus is back you'll see less of Marko.

I think This episode got a good balance of squash matches and actual matches you care about (give me two good matches a week, a few angles, and a few squash matches and I'm happy). When it's just banger after banger matches it becomes exhausting and isn't really memorable.

@niko_of_death: @milkman: I really liked the Limo conversation a lot. It built to how important the match was going to be for Cody's family members and the memory of Dusty, and it set up Hager attacking Dustin in the contract signing. They did a really good job of subverting expectations on your typical contract signing and Jericho was good in chewing up the scenery. I'm not sure I understand where "Cody really felt like HHH" comes from other than they were in a limo.

@roomrunner: I imagine that it leads to a Brandi vs. Baker feud and I'm worried.

@dizzyhippos: My only complaints too are people need more interview time, we don't need six matches for a show, and women's division needs a lot of work.

@dweep: I've stopped supporting WWE financially a few years ago (I went to a PPV this summer with a few friends but outside of that I dropped the network and haven't bought merch from them). WWE Network subscriptions and their viewership dropped significantly after their second trip to Saudi Arabia (the one that was right after the dismembering of the journalist). It used to be a 5% drop year over year in WWE ratings, but after that it went to somewhere around a consistent 25% drop year over year. So there is a pretty large group of people (I doubt all left leaning but probably a decent number) that has left following WWE due to their really bad business practices.

The good thing is, there's other wrestling companies out there to enjoy. AEW is an easy option for most, New Japan is also fairly easy to get caught up with, NWA Powerrr is going for something completely different and is free on YouTube, MLW is also really good and free on YouTube, and there's a million different indie companies that stream out on Fite.tv.

The tag division for AEW is just the absolute best. The first hour of AEW tonight I just felt spoiled for having so much good shit going on from the division. Lucha Bros are the best team in the world, they are incredible.

The Cody/Jericho angle was perfect. Jericho was a steal at whatever price they paid him, he's so incredibly valuable to AEW.

Building up Britt Baker as the hometown hero worked and it's nice to see a company that actually books favorably for people in their hometowns. Baker still doesn't seem especially good but at least her submission move is getting over.

Only bad things I could mention is I have no clue what that Brandi angle was supposed to be about, hopefully we aren't getting a Brandi/Britt feud because that could be disastrous. We need to have an interview segment that doesn't result as a blind sided attack. We need more post match interviews please for the love of God. And I'm a fan of draws but probably shouldn't end a show on a draw.

@retris: I think Tazz was pretty good, but I prefer JR. Tazz kinda seemed along for the ride on the most part and didn't really challenge Excalibur the way JR does. Tazz would make a great 3rd man in a three man booth but Tony is too much fun and is unreplaceable right now.
