its good huh? let me take a look at iOS 5......yup, every feature is taken from android, and android had them for like 2 years at that point. i didnt want to turn this into an iOS vs android thing, but of course somebody had to.

Early Phoenix Wright games even had the English localization on the Japanese cart, so you could get impatient and import them (which just made the extra year delay to US distribution all the more frustrating). But that stopped either with Apollo or Miles, sadly.

But don't let me distract y'all from your cute little pouting over your phones. Really, it's great how it not only makes you look like winners, but improves the entire site.

I liked it more than Miles, and I though it had a pretty interesting overarching plot.

Seeing Phoenix Wright as the old, savvy, world-weary retired lawyer was weird, though. In a good way.

I'm fine with Apollo Justice returning, but I want Klavier to go away. And, christ, can we at least see older Maya, Pearl or anybody just once? It's fine if they want to distance themselves from the Phoenix Wright story, but don't just throw all of the past characters we know and love in the garbage.

Ugh. Children, why don't you just let iOS and Android co-exist? They are both excellent operating systems, my experiences with Android (2.3 and Ice Cream Sandwich) over the last 10 months have been nothing but pleasant.

I'd be fine with them bringing back as few of the old cast as possible (unless it's a part of the story, like it was for Phoenix to be there) in Apollo Justice if those new characters or stories were anywhere near as interesting or well-written as the stuff from the Phoenix trilogy.

News of Ace Attorney 5 is great, but I still feel burned from Investigations 2 not getting localised. GRR... Capcom.

P.S. One of the cases will probably involve you trying to solve the mystery of the death of Mega Man.

@Blubba: I think Apollo Justice is a great adventure game but the story and characters are no where near as well constructed as the Phoenix Wright games. Apollo and Investigations are missing that extra layer of polish that Shu Takumi brought to the table in the first three games.

Ultimately, iOS, Android, and WP7 all have their strengths and weaknesses and things they could learn from each other. It just turns out that iOS has the stuff that is most important to most people.

Bring back Phoenix, Maya, Edgeworth, and the whole gang please. I didn't really like the character shift Phoenix had in the last game.

Seriously hope they stick with the Apollo Justice timeline, i'm curious about the other characters in the future. Did Franziska find perfection? Has Pearl realized the severity of her mother actions and is now whoring herself out on the streets? Also, i wouldn't mind having Ema completely replace Gumshoe, if only for the promise of more faux-forensics work, hopefully with a little more depth.

Great news. I'm glad they're bringing the series back, but I hope that they change it up. I haven't played the Edgeworth game, but the older games can get a bit stale.

I'm totally getting those hd versions on my android. I never owned a ds but these games always looked great.

I want Ghost Trick on iOS too, I think its been on iOS in Japan since the North American DS version shipped and they have the translation and no distribution cost, at worst they are paying for a bit of QA, so they really don't have a good excuse. I personally think they forgot.

There is a reason that game was number 3 on my Best of 2011 list, because I found every second of that game enjoyable and an iOS release would be a fantastic excuse to play through it again.

I am so gonna be glued to my iPhone when the new Ace Attorney games come out.

No. Investigations is its own thing. I can't see them bringing a lot from that spin-off into the Ace Attorney series.

Yes. I love the Phoenix Wright games, but I've never gotten more than halfway through one, and am not a big fan of using my crapped up old DS. I've also been meaning to check out Ghost Trick, but haven't for the same reason.

So by iOS/Android do we mean all devices or only tablets? Cause if it's all then I don't mind waiting until this comes out to check out Pheonix Wright. One less reason to use my 3DS.

I'm not surprised that they have foregone any further iOS releases in america. These games are too well made and lengthy to sell at 0.99 so they aren't really viable for ios in America. In Japan for example ghost trick was sold episodically and was nearly the price of the ds game for all the episodes.

AA4 wasn't that bad, but trying to top 3's crazy bring the entire trilogy together into a nice finale plot was pretty tough.

YES. I will definitely get all of them on Android.  The bit I've played of Ace Attorney games was a lot of fun.

I will definitely get this, and iOS seems like a good fit for a platform for it.

Actually, it seems Android has the stuff that is most important to most people, since Android's market share is significantly larger than that of iOS (47% for Android compared to 29% for iOS). The days of Apple's dominance in the smart phone market are long gone. And the idea of desktop icons is not that revolutionary.
