    hang out in the forest for longer than you should?
    Or if your getting up to do something and you leave Alan in the forest doing nothing for an extended period of time? With him doing a waiting animation.

    Sights and Sounds? Maybe you need to look down off of a fiew viewpoints or something? Or maybe it's just "OMGz you crashed in teh forest 15g" :P
