    Derrick portrays the characters Derek as well as Horatio in Mega64 versions 1, 2, and 3.

    He has also written and directed several episodes of Mega64.

    Derrick has coined the term "durger", meaning hot dogs. At a Tommy Tallarico house party, he confused a man by casually calling a hotdog a durger.

    Mega64 holds the record for the longest title for a song in Rock Band 3. The song "My Name's Horatio (You Got Me, You Ain't Got Nobody Else, So Deal With It, and Love It)" is sung by Derrick Acosta can be downloaded through Xbox Live Arcade/Rock Band Network DLC.
