    Overview

    The game features first-person perspective melee combat with various exotic weapons, three varied and extensive stages to explore and fight your way through, lore pickups, challenging enemies, and a souls-like progression system.

    ELDERBORN features an all-original soundtrack blending heavy metal, electronica, and exotic, middle-eastern vibes. The soundtrack is available on Steam and included in the Steam "Metal AF" digital special edition, which also comes with a digital artbook.

    The game entered Early Access in October 2018 and emerged in its fully-matured form on Steam on January 30, 2020, to very favorable player reception.

    Following the full release, the game continues to be supported by Hyperstrange, receiving content updates including New Game+ and Permadeath mode in the first year after the premiere.

    PC-exclusive at launch, the game has been announced for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. The console release date has not yet been disclosed.
