The 26th annual Electronic Entertainment Expo was planned to take place June 9-11, 2020 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. It was cancelled on March 11, 2020 due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since its inception in 2004, the Penny Arcade Expo has grown to be the largest gaming festival in North America. PAX West is held annually on Labor Day weekend in Seattle; PAX East in Boston in the Spring; PAX Australia in Melbourne in October; and PAX Unplugged in December in Philadelphia.
The seventeenth annual PAX West was scheduled to take place September 4-7, 2020 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was cancelled. A "PAX Online" event was announced to take place from September 12-20.
