Thanks Danny and Drew! This was my first year following F1, and it is all because of the F1 content on Giant Bomb. It has been fun learning about the sport.
The thing about posting leaked information is that it will only be seen by a small group of people that are super passionate about games. A guy I know is a huge Fallout fan, and a few months before it was announced, he had no idea that some info had been leaked, specifically that it would be set in Boston.
I don't think it really messes up their marketing plans, because these huge marketing campaigns are not directed towards people who visit gaming sites on a daily basis. There was a Fallout 4 ad behind home plate at the World Series this year. I don't know this for a fact, but I would argue that a large portion of the audience watching the World Series doesn't visit gaming sites, or even know what Fallout is.
Man, I really wanted Dave to spill all the beans about Arkham Knight. I know he can't because he runs a business, but I'm so interested to hear what happened with that game.
So @dannyodwyer was talking about how Guiness is popular in Jamaica. But it isn't the Guiness stout that is popular everywhere else, it is a lager that is brewed in Jamaica. There is a cool TV show called Three Sheets that is a travel show about other countries and their drinking cultures. The host goes to Jamaica and talks about the Guiness they drink.
I don't understand the repetitive argument with Witcher 3 and then say Metal Gear Solid V is the opposite of it. I feel like MGS V is so repetitive, but it is so much fun to play that it makes it alright to do the same thing over and over.
EDIT: The more I think about it, I can understand where Dan is coming from. To me, the actual missions in MGS V are repetitive. But the game offers you so many ways to complete missions that it makes the game unique. But the actual objectives seem to be pretty repetitive.
