Nia Lochain
Nina Lochlain

Nia Lochlain is a character in the game Infinite Space. There are 2 existing pages for her, both of which are misspelled. I think they should be combined into the first link and renamed to Nia Lochlain.

Thanks!

The "action control" scheme or Gears of War run-and-gun control scheme was mostly a product of this video, which appeared in the Inside Xbox section of the 360 dashboard around the same time the demo was released. However, there have been at least a few stories which report that the out-of-control marketing guy in the video was blowing hot air. Here's one from capcom-unity.com and another from psxextreme.com. Although that video got my hopes up about the extra control scheme, I began to wonder about it the more I thought about it. That type of drastic control scheme change would likely throw the whole game balance off that Capcom has no doubt been tweaking for months. I'm actually not too worried about it though. I've had a blast with every RE game I have played.

@TwoOneFive - I'm definitely not an audiophile, but I switched from digital optical to HDMI for audio with my 5.1 surround system on my PS3 and could not tell a difference between them (both sound great). I would say it's probably not worth buying a new receiver for.

For the OP - Let us know how the new HDMI cable works out. From what I have read, the digital signal through HDMI is either good or not good and not really susceptible to static, like analog signals (i.e. don't waste your money on $80 HDMI cables). If that's true, there may not be any difference in video quality with the new cable.

Another guide bug:
Trying to add a user to the guide, in this case username "Paul"
the search list shows 10 other users and I can't add him

Unfortunately, the search issue you mentioned isn't isolated to guides; it shows up all over the site. For example, if you search for the Atari 2600 game "Combat", it will not show up in the list of suggested matches even if you type the complete title of the game. However, if you click on the magnifying glass button to get a complete list of matches, you'll see it show up at the top of the list. I think the suggested matches are based on popularity, however in my opinion exact matches should always appear first. I don't think there's the equivalent of a magnifying glass search button when adding authors to a guide, which tends to exacerbate the problem there.

I have also experienced the same behavior in Firefox 3 with tables in guides. In addition, l have encountered other issues with tables which have been listed below. Working with tables is a bit frustrating at the moment, however I found that most of the glitches have workarounds which can dull a bit of the pain. I have to mention that I love the concept of this site and look forward to watching it mature over the next year or so (which hopefully includes the addition of a QA dept. :)).

- Hitting the backspace key seems to delete the entire table most of the time. I have found that using the delete key is safe (so far).
- Highlighting text in tables in the editor with the mouse is nearly impossible to do with any precision. Using the keyboard to highlight works much better.
- I swear at one point I saw table controls that allowed me to manually re-size rows and columns in tables. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do that now and the algorithm that automatically determines column width seems to produce inconsistent results between similar tables (i.e. columns in similar adjacent tables don't match up at all).
- Adding new rows by clicking on the arrows that appear next to cells causes the new rows to lose the alternating background color scheme. This can be cleared up by right clicking and either deleting or adding a new row using the menu that (sometimes) pops up.
- Pasting a table into the editor seems to work, however right clicking the table never brings up the table control menu for that table. I was trying to restore a table that I had created previously in my guide by pasting it back into the editor, but ended up having to start over from scratch.
- Right clicking in a table brings up the table context menu, as well as the normal browser context menu, often right over the top of the table menu.
- It seems that a single space is added to new table cells pretty much every time, but not every time. I noticed this since the cells which didn't have the added space stuck out since they didn't line up with the rest of the column. Now that I know they're there, I have to delete all of them, using the delete key, of course =P
- Having to add a single new row by right clicking and wading through menus or clicking on a tiny arrow seems cumbersome. Most editors that support table-like constructs use the tab button to navigate cells, creating a new row for you automatically when tab is pressed from within the lower right cell. None of that seems to work here. Having a similar system would greatly simplify table management in terms of data entry. If such a system exists, it has eluded me so far. Being able to specify table dimensions before creating a new table would be very useful as well.
- After editing a table, saving that section of the guide and then editing a new section of the guide, the row/column controls (arrow and 'X' buttons) that show up on selected cells will be displayed briefly in the empty editor until an action, such as typing text, is taken. This happens even in sections where no tables exist.

I have had a PS2 since a few months after launch. I had to break the seal, tear her down and clean the laser once after it stopped working, around 5 years ago. Despite me not knowing what I was doing, I managed to get it put back together and it still works to this day.

I screwed up and created a page of type person for a game character. Can this page be converted from type person to type character? If not, it should probably be deleted so the correct page can be created.

The page is for a character named Aradesh: http://www.giantbomb.com/aradesh/72-90041/
