For cheap, every day beer I drink something called Old Style Pilsner. Local, dirt cheap, and with a pretty good taste, for what it is - can't do better. I'm drinking one right now, in fact.
For good beer, the single best I've ever had is Harviestoun's Old Engine Oil. Thick, dark, chocolaty, and viscous. Almost everyone who tries it loaths it, but I am a true believer. It gets better, too. They sell the same beer after it has been aged in scotch casks (either Highland Park 12 or 18 years), under the name Ola Dubh 12/18. A little taste of heaven.
I still buy most of my PC stuff on steam, but I don't think I've browsed the steam store in years.
They work pretty good as a place where I can type in the name of whatever game I want and then buy it, and their community stuff is as complete as I've ever needed, but they are piss poor at surfacing anything of interest to me.
