For me it is less the thumbnail (in a few days I will never see it again) and more the emote where people need to spam that goofy hate criming violent asshole because it is so so zany! Heh yuk!
Nothing more welcoming than seeing that asshole's face every time someone feels like spaming an emote. Bonus points to the fine upstanding members of our community who, during a discussion of why that is insensitive, still felt the need to spam it and to tell people to lighten up and stop being so stressed out over racially motivated violence.
I get the mustache is funny and all but it would be really great if giant bomb could avoid putting a giant picture of a racist asshole who commit violent hate crimes on the front page

Did a rewatch of the entire series because I am a crazy person and the only person who even cared that Giselle wasn't there was Mia and almost immediately we moved back to Dom being super happy that Michelle Rodriguez's Bloodrayne didn't take off. Combine that with letting Statham eat at the family dinner and The Family dicked over Han so Han should wreck shop.
Nifty. Missed this yesterday but checked out drone swarm during one of the steam demo whatevers. Aesthetics are amazing, cutscenes are a whole new level of stupid that wraps back around to annoying, and controls very much feel like this is a mobile game on PC
So was the koopa shell/hammer bro thing a glitch, something special in (lame) SMB2, or something like how you can technically stomp at any point slightly below the apex of your jump or whatever that thing that people like to post from SMB1?
On the one hand, this game looks amazing and I sort of get a Frozen Synapse vibe from the real-time with pause combat and needing to lead or anticipate shots. And the, presumably, time travel aspects of the story sound pretty cool.
On the other hand, damn those character portraits make me feel skeevy and I can only imagine how bad things get when the visual novel parts start embracing that.
And on the third hand (... don't think too hard on this. Please): It just sounds like way too much. Probably order ten or twenty hours of plot spread out across three different modes just sounds like something I will get distracted from (possibly while turning my car into a mad max death macfhine to survive the apocalypse in a few months...) and never get back to.
@uriarra-heap: Well, they also took time at the start of the beastcast today to acknowledge they fucked up and that putting it in a editor's note nobody sees was not the right decision
So while I still wish it hadn't happened and hope they do better I also am pretty much fine with the response now
In honor of this popping up on the This Day in GB History
The two leads of this film are Ed Quinn (Stark on the first two or three seasons of Eureka. And... I think he has a band?) and Emmanuelle Vuagier (generic attractive woman in may films). For some reason it will forever be burned into my skull that I saw this on syfy over a decade ago and tuned in around the time they are heroically going to escape the building or whatever. They have lost their hockey pads and Stark just looks over and says "I can see your nipples" in a way that I have no idea if it was meant to be sleazy or cheeky or what.
Also, apparently Theo Rossi (Shades from Marvel Netflix Universe's Luke Cage) was in this. Saw him pop up very briefly in the TANG and then proceeded to ignore most of it while checking IMDB.
