I hate to be "that guy" that's coming in to correct everything, but Ruined King is not a roguelike or a card game. It's a turn-based party RPG, it has more in common with old Final Fantasy than with Slay the Spire. it's made by the people who made Battlechasers, and is super similar to that
oh man, I took a History of Rock Music course in college to hit a history requirement and the professor was an extremely old bitter racist woman who admittedly knew a lot about the industry and had some very interesting stories. the funniest part of the class was getting to the 90s and listening to her rant for an entire class about how Metallica sold out and betrayed their fans with this "pop" album. judging by the hands-on nature of the rest of her stories I think it was personal to her, not just a fan thing
my pick for a song to be covered by Crazy Frog is "Too Shy" by Kajagoogoo. Instead of "too shy shy, hush hush, eye to eye" you get "ring a ding, ring ding, ring a ding"
RE: Jan's story about The Fray playing How to Save a Life 3 times, I saw Third Eye Blind in around 2012 and they kept trying to push new music from a new album to dead silence from a pretty substantial festival crowd. Eventually they got to the point where they had to play Jumper. They played the entire song, transitioning into a drum solo as the rest of the band slowly walked off stage. The drummer solo'd for a couple minutes until the band eventually walked back in, picked up their instruments, and played the entirety of Jumper again. It was something like 10 minutes of continuous Jumper, absolutely bizarre
Recently playing through 12 Minutes recently put things into perspective with the twitch clip of Voidburger saying the Firewatch ending "wasn't game-ruiningly, cataclysmically bad." She's right, 12 Minutes is that example, not Firewatch
