The Riot/NEOM story is even worse when you consider that the LEC twitter account still had a Pride Month logo when they tweeted the announcement, and one of the most prominent members of the LEC on-air talent is a lesbian woman. The entire on-air staff threatened a strike/walk-out for the weekend's broadcast, which is almost definitely why action was taken so quickly. Shout out to them and the other Riot employees who said "yo, what the fuck"
this is a great accompaniment to my work right now. I design escape rooms and we're obviously closed at the moment, so I'm making an escape room app to stay employed in the meantime. it's basically one of these games but for phones and without the stellar voice acting!
best dream sequences for me are the ones in Night In The Woods. super affecting audiovisually, and the track Astral Alley in particular is one of my favorite songs in a game in... 5 years? 10?
lol, the not being able to leave a custom game thing is a shitty bug, ran into that with friends the other day. we were waiting for our 5th to get on and said "let's just dick around 2v2 for a bit" and got stuck in it until we finished it. not a good first impression for sure
the owners of the ESCAPE ROOM I manage refuse to close down. imagine going to an enclosed space and touching a bunch of things that a million strangers have touched right now
the good news for me having to go in to work there is we have literally zero bookings because OF COURSE everyone called to cancel
