I've done it once or twice. One time I was dreaming about a zombie apocalypse and realized it had to be a dream because I kept shooting the zombies in the head, but they wouldn't die. This, of course, is a scientific impossibility, and I was thus able to realize it was a dream. True story.

If you don't know when you go to college, go to a school with a liberal arts program, take a variety of classes, and see what you like. I work in tech theatre, but I also double majored in philosophy because I enjoyed the classes.

College admission AA should be based on financial need IMO. Businesses should just be able to show they are not actively discriminating. But I'm white, so yeah.

So tonight I had my first date since getting out of a 3 year relationship about a year ago, so its been 4 years since the last time I was on a first date. It was with a girl who has been filling in for one of my coworkers a couple of days a week for the past few weeks. We had a lot to talk about, mostly about theatre (that's what we work in), and I thought dinner went really well. Unfortunately, the food was prepared very quickly and the whole dinner lasted maybe an hour. I asked if she was busy or wanted to hang out some more (I was thinking coffee or something), but she said she needed to finish up something for a production meeting she had tomorrow. I took her home, she said she had fun, and that was that.
 
So, here's the question: was that a strike-out or was I even ever up to bat? I don't have her phone number (I know, I'm an idiot, we set everything up at work), but I am facebook friends with her. Should I simply ask her out again over facebook? Tell her that I really like her? Wait 10 days until the next time she fills in at work?
 
It sucks being out of the game for so long... not that I've ever really had game. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

I get the feeling most people here are bitter about bad prom experiences or just hate all the "cool" kids. I was/am a nerd and only went with a friend to prom. I hate bars, clubs, etc., but had a blast at prom. Prom is what you make of it. If you have a good group of friends and a fun date then you will have a good time. Just wear a normal suit and see if your date will pay for their own ticket. At my school we got free prom tickets for selling enough magazine subscriptions our junior year. Hell, if it comes down to it, set up a paypal account and see if the GB community will spot you a few bucks. I would.

Take a Chance on Giant Bomb

So, I wasn't sure if there was an official photoshop thread or not, but I was bored so here is the Giant Bomb guys as aBBa singing "Take a Chance on Me."

After playing through 'Splosion Man this weekend, I came to the realization that this is how a new Sonic game should be made. It's a fast timing based platformer that has a lot of variety. All the new Sonic games last about 6 hours and cost $60 and aren't fun . Also, they keep shoehorning in stupid mechanics that distract from the core Sonic gameplay. 'Splosion Man gives you many hours of gameplay, as well as a lot of replay value if you want to go for good times. Why not give sonic a wall jump and make a game in this style?
