i loved the goty streams this year. really liked all the categories and the chill vibes. Huge shout out to jan for his production wizardry, such great work all week long and still gettin' that 13 Sentinels lock! Can't wait for next year's category, Big Mud Presents: Best Music of 2021.

Forgot about this one, Maverick, a simple and quick jmtb02 joint; a physics platformer where you can only move by means of rapidly firing your dual pistols. Keep descending through 15 levels full of spikes and gravity shifts.

@colonelsanders21: club penguin was my first mmo when i was in gradeschool and I lived an entire penguin life in that penguin world. i had a penguin home with all my penguin furniture and penguin outfits, penguin friends, penguin responsibilities at my penguin job as a secret agent, and my puffle pets. Chill out in the cafe with the homies and play mancala. I played tons of the mini games too and pretty much had the jet ski/tubing mini game down pat and would farm money off it for hours. That and the downhill ski slope one.

This whole thread has been such a trip for me; so many memories, man i love flash games.

@judoboy: these were the two of the few games on my uncle's computer from twenty years ago. when my family would go to philly to visit on holidays i would plop myself down in his computer room and play Snowcraft and Elf Bowling. His computer also had Snood (SNOOD) and Frogapult which i also enjoyed

them elves were always so cheeky and satisfying to topple, and i played a bunch of elf bowling 2 which was more like shuffleboard but also, during downtime, when your cursor was off the board it became a crosshair and you had gun you could use to shoot penguins climbing an iceberg in the background lol.

Snowcraft tip team here, saying to put all your men in the bottom corner when not in use. guaranteed to work for like four levels.

@cosbot: both of those games are classic flash games imo, haven't thought about them in over a decade. Man, great calls.

Portal: Flash Version was actually my first exposure to Portal and when i played the real game on the Orange Box my mind was blown how the game was transported into 3D. Like Super Mario Bros becoming Super Mario 64.

Pacxon was such a cool mix of Pacman and Xonix, it was so addicting to play and trying to trap the ghosts in as small of spaces as possible; just a little ghost trapped in a 1x1 space forever, muahahahaha i loved it

@dezinus: hot damn i can't believe i forgot about that game. Upgrade complete was a fucking blast and really took that common flash game "upgrade loop" to the next level with having you spend in game currency to upgrade the graphics and the menus and such along with your ship. Played the hell out of that game and the sequel back in the day.

@shagge: echoing your sentiment about Orisinal games. Such simple, self contained mini games but with this soft and warm aesthetic theme shared amongst the whole collection; its such a nice, stylistic through-line
