I wasn't aware that it can be not a problem to dream about a group of guys who tell you about video games over the internet. I had the impression that OP finds it weird in a problematic way. If not (which he should clarify), then please ignore my replies.
You sound really insecure honestly.
One cannot express himself freely on the internet without being considered a hater, so I'd rather convey my message like an insecure idiot than speak plainly and get banned bro. You got my point, that's what matters.
If Batman and the Avengers weren't the Gods of this internet generation I'd take those scores more seriously, because bias, so I have to experience the game first hand to see if it's actually this near-perfect. I'm sure it's great, but then again, it's the third Arkham game, and I don't see how much Rocksteady can take the series beyond what City achieved.
The best line from his Why We Write piece, for me, was this:

I usually roll my eyes at what seems to me pointless nit picking about sexism and diversity in pew-pew games, but that line you quoted gave me a bit of a goosebump, dang. Too bad the actual discourse about that stuff does NOT sound like what Austin made it seem in that quote.

@viper: Interesting, then it's different for me. Outside of childhood mental images, and the occasional girl I might have a crush on once every 2 years, I only dream of things that I experience frequently.
But, I think OP is more like me and less like you in that regard because he does explain by saying:
