Of all the battle royale style games I enjoyed this one the most, although I simply don't think the genre is for me overall. I can't get into playing any of them for more than a few games before losing interest, but I really enjoy GB's streams of them and watching the shenanigans that occur along the way. Keep up the great work!

@cats_n_tats I'm pretty much feeling the same as you regarding the genre. This game is fun to jump into occasionally but as a whole, the genre isn't something I run back to you.

Oh man that first death. This game is so good, but i still dont understand the shotgun change

Every single game ended with at least 2 people on every team using PK. It was an excellent change because now people are using other guns, and the Mastiff is still a good shotgun but does not have the range of a pre-Loba PK.

Decided to check this out after a long break. After a 35gb patch (what is this Call of Duty? Heyoooo) I played about 3 matches, had my fill for a while. I got to experience all three groups of random teammates. First one was the most balanced where we just moved at a steady pace towards the middle. Second group kept looting in the same location for ages without moving up. Third group was full throttle sprinting where I was constantly almost half a map away from them when I took a little more time to look for better guns.

It plays fine but I still don't really enjoy the build up as much. Titanfall 2 was a ton of fun in multiplayer because of how fast paced it was. Apex is all about the build and quite frankly if you're not a good shot then you're either at the mercy of being carried by your better teammates or you're not going to have a lot of fun.

I love this game. I don't really get into shooters very often and the last time I was playing one this much was Team Fortress 2! It feels very good to play and the different character abilities make it interesting. The team dynamic makes everything feel kind of tactical in a way other brs dont hit

I just kept yelling: "PICK UP A HELMET BEN" during that first match.

@cats_n_tats: I play the game almost daily and sometimes I wonder why. I absolutely love the gun play and sound effects. It's all so satisfying. But then I have nights like tonight, where I play for an hour and every game turns into such a shit show I don't know why I'm wasting my time. Match after match of people landing in hot spots getting immediately gunned down. Other games where one second you're alive and the next you're dead. But sprinkled in every so often is that perfect game that makes all the bad stuff go away. Until the next game starts.....
