The Shun Goku Satsu (瞬獄殺, often translated to "Instant Hell Murder") or in earlier western releases, the Raging Demon, is the signature move of Akuma and other Satsui no Hadou-using characters, such as Evil Ryu. Other characters have super moves that resemble the Shun Goku Satsu in all but name, usually as a parody of the move.
The move first appears in Super Street Fighter II Turbo, where it is not used in-battle, but Akuma uses it to kill M. Bison before challenging the player.
In older supplemental texts, it was said that the Shun Goku Satsu drags opponents to hell to be tormented for their sins and failures. However, in Street Fighter V, Akuma just beats up the opponent at extremely high speeds.
