Judgement Silversword is a vertical shoot 'em up that debuted on the WonderSwan Color and primarily used its "portrait mode" orientation. It forgoes the power-ups common to the genre, instead allowing the player to manually switch between three firing modes including a short-range shield that absorbs a certain amount of projectiles before it breaks. As the player reaches new milestones, they can unlock new feature toggles in the game accessible via the main menu.
In addition to its original WonderSwan release, Judgement Silversword was included along with its sequel Cardinal Sins - Recycle Edition in Qute's Xbox 360 shoot 'em up Eschatos. It was also made available as an individual game on Steam, now with the subtitle of Resurrection Edition.
