The official Blog de PlayStation has details on a new downloadable update for WipEout HD, itself a downloadable version of Sony's classic hover racer. Starting tomorrow (that's Wednesday to you), the update will add a bunch of new features to the game, including friend game invites, a new on-the-fly spectator mode, and updated online rankings and badges. There's a few minor updates and tweaks going in as well; head over to the official blog to get the full list, and hit up the PlayStation Network tomorrow to find the update.
