What does this big phat beta sign-up thing on the dashboard actually sign you up for?

I believe it's the beta for the next, probably minor, iteration of the dashboard...

For some reason I keep thinking they will update the dashboard with planned obsolescence in mind but that's some silly conspiracy theorist shit and wouldn't even benefit Microsoft.... but think about it guys.

The Beta's for the "real-world-currency-instead-of-points" update.
