A good, fun shooter that should please a lot of FPS gamers. 0

I remember back before Area 51 was released. People were saying that it was revolutionary and that it was going to change the gaming world. And, of course, people always tag on that classic line: "Better than Halo!!!!"Let me just tell you that this game is not revolutionary, it won't change the gaming world, and it really isn't better than Halo 1 or 2. A Fun SCIFI FPS 0

Gameplay: Run and gun thro some levels stay behind cover in others varys in each level. Lots of things to kill and do..scan things to get new features in the game.Graphics: Not the best ive seen for a xbox game but good for its time...in 2005 Nice maps are fun to explore. Charcters dont look to good.Sound: Name talents like David Duchovny, Powers Boothe, and Marilyn Manson lend their voices to the game, but none does much with his role. gun fire is realistic and during a gun fight sounds of glas...

The graphics are decent and the games design is really cool. The action comes in like a normal FPS. The weapons look really cool, but some flaws (dual shotguns, but non dual-able pistols? in the words of Gob Bluth, COME ON) are there. Other than that, the game isnt really that difficult, but it can be if you let it. This game needs ...

David Duchovny huffs some Nyquil...and a game happens. 0

2005. Six years. It isn't really that long ago, all things considered. But in the evolution of the FPS genre, it may as well be the dark ages. Looking at AREA-51 today, it's hard not to judge it by the contemporary standards which FPS players have become accustomed to, but I'm going to give it a shot, seeing as I just completed the PC version.Note: Installing this game on a modern PC is a bit of a chore, due to the Starforce DRM on the DVD which happens to be incompatible with both Vista a...
