Argonus and the Gods of Stone is the newest game from developer Zojoi.
It invites players to leap into a world of Greek myths and legends and step into the sandals of Argonus - one of the famed Argonauts. Shipwrecked, Argonus must join forces with Athena to find the remaining Argonauts and escape the mysterious isle on which he finds himself. But to do this he must overcome an evil that threatens to engulf not only the island but the whole world.
Zojoi's previous title was the 2014 reimagining of the classic point-and-click adventure Shadowgate. Studio Head, Dave Marsh, was also a lead on the original 1987 Shadowgate and this is clear in Argonus and the Gods of Stone gameplay. Taking many cues from the classic adventure genre, Argonus updates them for 2019. With a fully realised 3D world to explore, players must solve puzzles, outwit monsters and sate the gods to achieve their goal.
