I've spent about 5 hours trying to play Day Z I have the combined operations pack, got the six launcher and go auto join. It either gets stuck on loading or stuck on waiting to create player. Is there something really obvious I'm missing I tried going on the Day Z forums and all the topics on this are locked.

congratulations you have bought an amazing simulator with unprecedented detail and realism, but i guess you just want to play that stupid mod, like 99% of the current playerbase.

I had a friend trying to use six launcher today. He could never get it to work. I manually installed the Operation arrowhead beta stuff and then used this installer which installs dayz and creates scripts to launch the game with the dayz add on stuff. I do use six launcher to update it, but not launch it.

I sure they are sad they sound a extra 500000 copys to people that want to play this stupid mod, which I do and can't launch it!

How often do they release builds of it?

Do you get a list of servers to choose from in the six launcher? If you click one and then hit the update/play button it should either download the latest patch of DayZ or just send you to the player list of the server. I know when it first came out it took like 15 min to get on a server because of how many players were wanting to play at once.

Just manually install the bitch. It's so much simplier

@Bourbon_Warrior: I have two steam accounts and that was giving me a hard time. Had to do this to fix problem.

@switters: Got it running sucks you don't start with a gun. I played for about 2 hours of running away from fast zombies and gave up.
