DLC Price Drop Hits 360

Major Nelson has details on a temporary price cut for some Xbox 360 downloadable content.

Xbox 360 mouthpiece and all-around swell guy Major Nelson has details on a temporary price cut for some Xbox 360 downloadable content. The "Extended Play Download Days" sale will run through the end of October and it impacts 18 different packages and covers six different games.

Some car and track packs for Forza 2 are on the list, as are a handful of accessory and level collections for Beautiful Katamari. A Lost Odyssey bonus pack, some Guitar Hero 3 packs, and content add-ons for Mass Effect and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion are also on the list.

While I don't see myself jumping back into Forza 2 to check out the cars I passed over the first time, knocking $10 off of the price of Oblivion's Shivering Isles expansion and bringing it down to $20 sounds like a pretty good deal. Maybe once my 360 is finished exporting all my Rock Band songs for Rock Band 2 use, I'll give that a shot.
