First Modern Warfare 3 Gameplay Trailer Premieres Tonight

well, since Im flying today, I have something to look forward too when I land.

Oh fuck, I really really hope they introduce a mechanic where you can put bullets in guns and shoot them!  Someone hire me as some sort of neo gaming stratagod!

Man, I want to be excited... but I'm just not, and I really like the COD franchise.

"Creative Strategist" Robert Bowling? So... they just promoted internally after everybody left last year? Not that I want to hate on Robert Bowling or anything, but I thought he was their community manager. Or is "creative strategist" just Activision nuspeak for community manager?

I'm not really expecting much.

But I hope for their sake it's not just a slightly polished MW2 with a different story and Black Ops' CoD Points system.

MW3:

Call of Duty during NBA conference game? Can't blame them for knowing their demographic perfectly.

Unless there are some significant changes, I already know I'll be taking a pass on this. 

Is Infinity Ward developing this? Can't see too many changes being made with their situation.

I'm surprised that I'm actually getting excited for MW3.
I liked MW2 even with the lame twist ending, and overkill of the main characters, but it was still light-years ahead of the Fight Club rip-off that was Black Ops.
Multiplayer was better too aside from the bullshit nukes, overpowered choppers, and ninja knifers.

Maybe just for the fact Treyarch has nothing to do with it will make MW3 a good game.

MW3:

1. Introduce protagonist; white, Midwestern, Army Sgt.

2. Establish Asian/Middle Eastern "terrorists" as antagonists.

3. Baysplosions all over Europe, taking out all the touristy targets. With only one target in America being destroyed, thus inciting the wraith of the U.S.

4. Shoot an M4 that doesn't sound anything like an M4 39028429 times, also throw 3993 grenades.

5. Snow mission, night mission in some sort of vehicle, jungle mission. In no particular order.

6. More Baysplosions.

7. Protagonist dies in some super heroic, freedom saving way. Is replaced by lesser ranking solider of different race.

8. Final confrontation mission against Asian/Middle Eastern leader, where he is killed in slow motion.

9. America saves the world. Fuck yeah.

If you aren't into CoD MP I just saved you $60.

I don't expect this game to be much different than the last MW game. That said, I'll still probably buy it because I'm weak. The multi-player is old, but I love their batshit single player campaigns. 

Excited to see it.

Won't be watching the game on TNT, but looking forward to the trailer when its posted on GB.

They need to end it right in the middle of WWIII with aliens attacking earth, thus paving the way for Future Warfare.

obviously hoping to see where story goes and hopefully any graphical improvements will be awesome. 

No wager matches / customizable emblems = not interested. I like having a place where me and my friends can fuck around in a match with silly rules. That, and I like having the Audio-Technica logo as my emblem.

If this is the real deal (which kotaku says it is) it looks really fucking dull. The video quality is shit but it still looks like the old engine. Boo.

Well, the finals are on ESPN, so having the commercial on TNT is kinda stupid. I just watched it online and it looks cool, but not blown away by it.

Call me crazy, but yes, Patrick.  A Call of Duty game is exactly what I'm looking for from a Call of Duty game.

So I've heard it's pretty hip to hate on what's popular, I wanna get in on this.<Sarcasm> MW3 Blows man! I was totally expecting a turn based RPG in my COD! I'm so boycotting this shit until I get what I want! Wahhh wahh wahh</Sarcasm> On a less pessimistic note I'm really looking forward to Modern Warfare 3.
